Oz The Great and Powerful

Oz The Great and Powerful is a movie set 20 years before Dorothy came. It stars James Franco as Oscar Diggs, Milan Kunis as Theodora, Rachel Weisz as Evanora, and Michelle Wiliams as Glinda.  Oscar is a small-time magician in a traveling circus. While in a hot air balloon, he gets sucked in a tornado and Gets taken to the Land of Oz. There he meets Theodora who is convinced that  he is the wizard who is supposed to overthrow the Witch who killed the King of Oz. This movie was directed by Sam Raimi. This is a great family movie!

Sixteen Candles!

Sixteen Candles is a coming-of-age film made in 1984. It stars Molly Ringwald as Samantha Baker, Anthony Michael Hall as Ted, and Michael Schoeffling as Jake Ryan. High school Sophmore Samantha Is trying to get through her 16th birthday that her family forgot because her older sister, Ginny, is getting married the next day. She is also completely in love with senior Jake Ryan. This is an amazing 80's movie with a great soundtrack!

Pitch Perfect!

My next review will be on Pitch Perfect. Pitch Perfect stars Anna Kendrick as Beca, Rebel Wilson as Fat Amy! Brittany Snow as Chloe, Skylar Astin as Jesse, and Anna Camp as Aubrey. This movie is about Beca, a freshman at Barden University, that joins an acapella group called the Barden Bellas that competes against a rival male acapella group called the Treblemakers to try to get to Nationals. Pitch Perfect has an amazing soundtrack with covers from all different genres. This is a great comedy to see. I give it a 5 out of 5 stars!

The Breakfast Club!

The next movie I will be reviewing is The Breakfast Club! This movie was made in 1985 and is about five teenagers that spend a Saturday detention together and learn that they are more than their stereotypes show them as. Emilio Estevez plays the jock Andrew Clark, Molly Ringwald plays the princess Claire Standish, Judd Nelson plays criminal John Bender! Anthony Michael Hall plays nerd Brian Johnson, and Ally Sheedy plays basket case Allison Reynolds. This is a great coming of age movie for all teens. I give this movie 5 out of 5 stars! :)
